Kim Soo-hyun’s Agency Expresses Desire to Meet Kim Sae-ron’s Mother: “We Deeply Regret the Pain She Has Endured”

On March 15, Kim Soo-hyun’s agency, Gold Medalist, issued a statement acknowledging Kim Sae-ron’s mother’s stance as revealed in the Garo Sero Research Institute broadcast. The agency expressed, “We deeply empathize with her concerns regarding the nature of various reports about the deceased. However, there are some aspects of her claims that differ from our understanding. Our management team would like to meet with her and provide a full explanation.”

On the previous day, Kim Sae-ron’s mother stated, “Our goal is to restore the honor of a child whose life was ruined in an instant due to numerous false reports. We also wish to establish a legal precedent to hold malicious YouTubers and cyber-rekka accountable for their crimes.” She also criticized both cyber-rekka channels and Gold Medalist for allegedly dismissing Kim Sae-ron’s statements as lies.
In response, Gold Medalist stated, “We cannot find adequate words to comfort a mother who is experiencing indescribable pain after losing her daughter. We feel deep sorrow and regret for the suffering the deceased had to endure.” However, they also noted, “Publicly disputing these matters is not an appropriate way to restore the late Kim Sae-ron’s honor, nor does it align with her mother’s intent to seek justice. We would appreciate it if she could contact our office at any time.”

Meanwhile, Gold Medalist also responded to additional photos released by Garo Sero Research Institute the previous day, clarifying, “The photos were taken on December 14, 2019,” and shared an image with the timestamp to verify the date.

They emphasized that the photos were taken when Kim Sae-ron was already an adult. The agency further stated, “There is absolutely no justification for the indiscriminate disclosure of private photos involving Kim Soo-hyun and the deceased. We urge an immediate halt to the dissemination of personal matters.”
